Start 2026 with a new skill! Join us for the perfect Sunday of silver jewellery making for beginners, Learn how to make your very own jewellery in Sterling Silver. In this beginner-level Sunday workshop, you’ll learn all about the traditional techniques and tools used to make jewellery. We’ll cover a checklist of essential techniques such as sawing, filing, annealing, texturing, shaping, and soldering. Our expert tutors will demonstrate every step of the process and then guide you as you practise your new skills. To begin with, you will get creative with copper, learning the skills and experimenting until you have the confidence to move on and create a finished piece in silver. You can choose to make a ring, pendant, or a pair of earrings. Our talented tutors will be on hand to help you come up with designs using your ideas and inspirations. This course is a great starting point if you are taking your first steps in jewellery making, or if you just want a fun-filled creative activity!

What's included in the price?

We’ll provide everything you need for your Silver Jewellery for Beginners Sunday workshop including tools and enough silver to make a pendant, earrings or a ring. Please bring along glasses if you need them. Wear appropriate, warm clothing and footwear for a studio environment including closed-toe shoes. If you have long hair please wear it up. Tea, coffee and biscuits supplied. If you could bring a lidded cup that would be great! Bring your own lunch to eat in the studio or we can advise you of nearby places to eat
