Spinning Ring Class

Description

A perfect class for both beginners and more experienced makers, with the more sophisticated approach to the spinning ring rather than a basic hammered class! This all day session will teach you how to use traditional jeweller's tools where you will learn a wide variety of silversmithing techniques, including embossing with exclusive embossing sheets from top textile designers, as well as how to measure, cut, solder, and texture your ring. A fantastic class to learn a more sophisticated approach of making a spinning ring! This class is perfect for the uninitiated looking to take their first steps in jewellery making, or for a small group of family, friends or colleagues looking to learn something new or enjoy a day of creative fun in a safe bubble.

What's included in the price?

All tools and equipment are provided and the silver and embossing sheet is included in the cost of the class where you will end the day with a beautiful, original spinning silver ring! Refreshments included. We schedule one hour for lunch but food is not provided, so please bring your lunch, or you can eat at one of the lunch spots less than a two minute walk from the school.

A creative school in the heart of Stratford upon Avon’s historic town centre, a stones throw away from Shakespeare’s Birthplace. From our specialist workshop space, the school offers a wide range of vocational and recreational classes to include full jewellery making processes, design awareness and development creative business coaching. Alongside the established workshops, the school has a series of visiting specialist tutors offering both introductory and specialist classes throughout the year where we work with all level of students from complete beginners to professional makers. In addition we offer many recreational classes and bookings available from birthday parties, hen-dos and team building sessions, each class is built in with drinks and refreshments meaning that not only will you enjoy your day, you’ll leave with a solid foundation of skills you can build on in many ways.
