Soap Making at Elvet and Bailey, Durham

Description

We will guide you through how to make your own soaps. Using a melt and pour method you will learn about soap making, how to add fragrance oils, colours and inclusions to make your signature soaps. In the 2 hour session, you will make a minimum of 4 soaps to take home with you. We supply a range of fragrance oils, mica powders and moulds to choose from. As we are using hot soaps, all participants must be 12 years and above, those under 18 must be accompanied by a paying and responsible adult. Please also note that as we are using concentrated fragrance oils it is recommended that you seek medical advice to attend if you are pregnant. Craft and Create North East CIC are 3 local ladies who have been teaching workshops for many years. We cover a wide range of crafts between us and are completely mobile, so we can cover anywhere in the North East. Cancellation Policy: All workshops must be paid in full at the time of booking. We understand that things happen in life so should you need to cancel your booking please contact us as soon as possible. A full refund will be given, or the opportunity to book another date, if we are given 14 days or more notice before the date of the workshop Between 7 and 14 days before the workshop date – no refund will be given, however you will have the opportunity to book another date. Less than 7 days before the workshop date - no refund will be provided and no opportunity to book another date will be given. Any refund due will be paid to the original payee only and by the original payment method. If you fail to turn up for your workshop, you will be ineligible for a refund and you will not be able to move your booking to an alternative date. If a workshop is cancelled by ourselves or the provider of the workshop location, you will be offered the choice of a full refund or to book onto an alternative workshop. You will be provided with as much notice as possible if a workshop has to be cancelled.

We are 3 ladies who have been providing a number of different craft workshops for a couple of years now. We can teach a wide variety of crafts form lampshade making to home fragrances, resin to needlefelting. We offer sessions for groups and parties too.
