How this was made
Reduction prints are made by carving away details, inking up and printing the plate. Then the next colour layer is carved, inked and printed. This means that once a layer is printed it can never be printed again. This reduction print had 5 separate layers of coloured ink printed to create this beautiful nest and eggs image.

She holds a B.A. (Hons) degree in Related Arts and a range of teaching qualifications, offering professional, supportive guidance across a wide variety of art and craft disciplines. As a practising artist, Tricia has exhibited her work both nationally and internationally. Now based in West Somerset, she teaches private courses for both adults and children, creating a welcoming, nurturing environment for learners of all levels.
