Description

Introducing a new needle felting workshop which is ideal for beginners to needle felting animals. We will all make a gorgeous fox with attitude together with step-by-step stages starting with a bundle of fox coloured carded wool, how to shape and form the wool to create the body, limbs and head. Discover how to put them all together to make your fox and make them strong. How to blend/card different colours of soft wool together to create long fur and make the bushy tail. How to make tri-coloured ears. Then add either glass or needle felt the eyes to give that 'foxy' look. It can be standing, sitting or laying down. I will teach the 'no armature' method of making your fox using just wool and a felting needle which is how I teach and make all my sculpted animals. This workshop is ideal for beginners or those with some experience of needle felting, as we will all be making the same animal, which will all look different to each other. I encourage individuality and having a fun relaxing day for everyone in my studio at Dean Clough in Halifax, West Yorkshire. A day workshop with highly experienced fibre artist Josephine Gornall in her studio.
