Join us as one of our very first guests to enjoy the picturesque surroundings of historic Alresford Grange. Try your hand at creating your very own landscape painting, with the superb direction of guest artist, Barbara Peirson. All welcome, from beginners to experienced artists. Alresford Grange is a charming Edwardian estate located within the beautiful Essex countryside with spectacular views of the River Colne. We’re inviting you to explore your creative ideas and skills in a relaxed and friendly environment, with renowned local guest artist, Barbara Peirson, a Contemporary British painter of landscapes, figures and still life. Perhaps because of Barbara’s roots in the theatre, a sense of implicit narrative pervades her works, albeit elusive, evoking something neither real nor imagined, more a world half-remembered When booking, please advise of any specific needs or dietary requirements. Note that the venue is wheelchair accessible. If you would like to share further information, please get in touch via the 'message the tutor' button below. Lunch to be served between 12:00-13:00. Note that we may be unable to cater for very complex dietary requirements and you may need to bring your own lunch. Refreshments will be provided throughout the day. Important note - guests will be allocated a time slot between 09:00-09:50, allowing for a staggered arrival to enable time to settle in. This will be advised a week in advance, so please expect an email. Think green - plenty of parking available but if possible, please share car journeys or travel on foot or bicycle.
