Creative day for small teams, groups, friends and family. Stepping into a creative space, intentionally, is a great way to: - Bring creativity back into problem solving and decision making - Stimulate intuition, imagination & new perspectives - Generating stillness & creative space to the overwhelm of daily challenges (Note: 1 place left = 1 group). In this workshop you and your group will: Recover the power of creativity in every aspect of life. Learn to think creatively. Use a variety of materials to stimulate your expressive imagination and playfulness and to create exciting art. Create your own piece of unique, abstract art to take home, framed and ready to go! The workshop day is perfect for artists and non-artists, work teams or family and friends groups, those with time, and those pressed for time, the anxious & stressed and the calm and reflective. In the workshop you will experience how to: - Make and create your own collaging papers. - Work on a variety of surfaces. - Experiment with hand torn papers, to create compositions. - Learn about design & value. - How to start a sketchbook practice (for those who are interested in building regular creative habits). - Review your creative practice and processes for work, home and life. It is designed to help you and your group to find a joyful and playful way to free up your innate creativity, without the need to follow a template or formula. We will be using collage, which is not dependent on having any mastery or skill. It is a leveller and is a surprisingly exciting process, as you have no idea what the final outcome will be. “Collage allows your creativity to run wild. Booking steps: 1. Create your group/team (4, 5, or 6 people). 2. Choose a person to act as the ‘booking agent’ to select a date and pay the full fee. 3. I’m Jane Beaumont and I will be running the workshops. I trained in art and textiles and have been an artist all my life. I believe that making and creating is at the core of human flourishing. It allows opportunities for us to see our unique creative abilities and to delight in our authentic voice.
