Description

In this informative and absorbing workshop, you will learn how to design, carve and print a lino cut using several colours, building up an image in successive layers. This is known as the colour reduction method. You will create a single bloom or flower head using this method to suggest tone and colour gradation. Your session will be led by Sue, a tutor of 20 + experience. The group is limited to 6 spaces, to ensure that you receive the 1:1 tuition that you need to produce work you are proud of! This is a full day workshop aimed at those with some prior experience of lino cut printmaking, who would like to try something new, and extend their knowledge.
