"It was a brilliant day, with an extensive range of paint colours, equipment, tea and snacks in this wonderful bright and airy workspace. The techniques demonstrated were excellent enabling us to each paint and finish a beautiful box in our own choice of colour and design. Hannah, of course was helpful, informative and friendly throughout the class and I would definitely book onto another class. Actually my friend is so impressed with our results she wants me to take her along as well next time. So a big thumbs up and thank you ???"

"Hannah was very friendly and welcoming on arrival at the workshop. She offered clear methods, guidance and support in all aspects of achieving a beautiful finish and design on our boxes. We were given an opportunity to choose from an array of colours, attempt Hannah's designs or try out our own. We were a group of seven and our finished boxes all differed but not in the overall standard and beauty. It was a great introduction to the art of upcycling furniture and a great start for a beginner. The boxes make beautiful gifts but the actual workshop would too. Looking forward to learning more and increasing my skills through Hannah and her workshops."

Hannah also kept the tea and coffee flowing which was much appreciated as well as supporting us all as we worked on our boxes! I definitely want to sign up for the full furniture workshop now! "I really enjoyed the Christmas box workshop. When I saw Hannahs's design ideas I thought as a complete novice I would never be able to accomplish anything similar but with Hannah's expert guidance I produced a lovely keepsake box which I'm gifting to my great-granddaughter. Thank you Hannah for a wonderful day, fantastic atmosphere and support."

"I had a brilliant crafting morning/afternoon with Hannah! Even though I was way out of my comfort zone, Hannah was so informative and supportive and gave lots of creative ideas and tips! "I really enjoyed my day learning how to upcycle furniture with Hannah. She took us through the whole process from start to finish and it was ideal for a complete beginner like me. The pace was excellent and the supporting materials meant that we didn't have to try and remember everything. Hannah was a very patient and supportive tutor and I would thoroughly recommend the day."

"Hannah is a lovely teacher and goes at a comfortable pace. I really enjoyed the day and to have a finished up cycled piece of furniture at the end, is fantastic. The course was full of tips and Hannah answered any questions. It was great to try a different type of furniture paint too. I would highly recommend Hannah’s work shop for anyone who is interested in up cycling, you won’t be disappointed. She is a lovely person and the group was small so meant that Hannah could spend time with each person. The venue is easy to find and there’s a vintage shop and cafe within the old building. Thank you Hannah for an enjoyable day."

"The day flew by and I came away feeling confident in my new skills to be able to up upcycle any furniture in the future! I’m really happy with what I produced but a word of warning - you don’t only need to be able to carry your item, you need to be able to carry it quite a way through an old mill and surrounding car park!"

"Hi Floss, thanks so much for coming. Your piece was beautiful <3 I'm sorry you knocked it trying to get it back in the car. You're right, it is a large mill. I'd have suggested leaving it in the loading area and driving the car around. Sorry, if I hadn't still been teaching I would have helped you carry it down. It always gets a little hectic towards the end. It was so lovely having you along and I do hope you go on to do more upcycling!"

"Having only ever dabbled and unsuccessfully tried to upcycle befofe this was a great course to do. Hannah was patient with all my questions and was so knowledgable and approachable. The studio is a really comfortable place to be and has some interesting things to oggle at! I learned so much on the course and had a really fun time completing my piece (telephone table). She had a great range of colours and tools to use on the day which was great as i had no idea what i was going to do with my table. Hannah helped me decide what would be best and easiest to achieve on the day and sent me home with a shopping list to complete. I would love to take the course again and would highly recommend it."
