Very calm, mindful atmosphere sitting in a clearing in the bluebell wood, whittling away. Very happy with our slightly wonky first attempts at spoons and ordering some whittling tools this week! "This was a wonderfully calm, relaxing and mindful few hours in the woods near Reading. Amazingly patient teacher - Suz - who was very good at explaining, and helpful when needed. Hot chocolate made on open fire, beautiful bluebell woods and a variety of birds singing in the trees. Spoon has to be left a few days before sanding as it is green wood, so looking forward to the next stage. We (my husband and I) enjoyed the whole process and we left with another piece of wood to make our next spoon. Give it a go - great fun, and very mindful experience. Thank you Suz."

"A great course for all standards. I had never done basket weaving before but Suz was friendly, encouraging and happy to explain as many times as needed. The class size was perfect (6) everyone was friendly and helpful. I would recommend this course to anyone. Make a great day out with friends or if you are flying solo. I was surprisingly pleased with the basket I made. I will definitely be doing this again. Location was easy to find and plenty of parking. I did find the room a little dark. "
