"This experience was everything we had hoped for - enjoyable, friendly, relaxing and productive. Both my partner and I had a fun time learning to shape, solder and polish our silver rings. The location, the barge and the company were lovely - as were the cups of tea and slices of cake provided. Jonathan was a friendly and patient teacher and we came away having had a thoroughly good time. Will definitely go back for more jewellery making fun."

"On Saturday I had a wonderful day learning how to make a silver jewellery. On the canal boat we got very creative and Jonathan was an excellent teacher. It was the perfect setting to celebrate my boyfriends birthday (he loved it too). We learnt some basic skills and then went on to making a silver ring to take home. What a beautiful, relaxing day which I’ve recommended to all my friends. Expect plenty of tea and cake and great company. Thank you Jonathan for a great day!"

"I received this course as a birthday gift from my Mum. We arrived on the day following the clear instructions and followed the signs to the river. Spotting the picnic table and chairs we knew we were in the right place! Jonathon is an excellent teacher, starting with the basics and building up our skills through the day - with countless cups of tea (and a cake break)! My mum made a silver open bangle and I made a set of stacking rings. We had the most enjoyable day and would certainly love to go back and do it all again! A perfect day! "I recently attended a silver jewellery workshop day that my husband bought for my birthday with my friend Betty. What a brilliant day we had. We were both complete beginners and were slightly nervous but with Jonathons' skilful tutoring we were confidently filing, using the blow torch and polishing our jewellery. I made the stacking rings and Betty made earrings. I can not recommend the workshop enough. The setting is beautiful and the calm and relaxing environment was just perfect for learning new skills and being creative. Thank you Jonathan for such a great day."

"We have had the best time making each other’s wedding rings. Every last thing was perfect; the location, the tea, the whole experience nwas top notch. Jonathan’s expertise and calmness was a perfect balm in the middle of wedding-planning chaos. Seriously, I would recommend everyone makes their own wedding rings on this boat, you get to spend the day away from wedding madness and be calm and you get to make something with love for the person you love. I cried a little when I saw how much love and care he put into making mine, I will cherish it forever. The one I made for him is pretty amazing too!! We were both slightly nervous as we were complete beginners, but Jonathon made sure we felt supported and comfortable . He filled us both full of confidence and knew when to sit back and when to step in. We are delighted with our rings, they are unique and really high quality, I can not recommend this day enough and we will remember it always."

"This was arranged as a 21st present for my granddaughter, Kate, and we had a fabulous day. Jonathan’s instructions led us gradually to being able to create memorable pieces of jewellery. Regular infusions of coffe and cake also helped and the setting finished off a great day. This will definitely go on my present list for other members of my family - that means I can also have a go at another piece."

"My daughter Hannah and I booked onto the course for Hannah’s birthday and had such a great day. Jonathan is friendly, welcoming and a very patient tutor. The boat is well equipped and comfortable- and Jonathan even moved it to a shadier spot in view of the recent hot spell. We had great fun working with the copper wire and trying out new techniques ready to start on our rings after lunch. We at both really pleased with what we achieved and inspired to try more. A great find and one we would both recommend"
