"This was just such a hugely enjoyable day. Neither my husband nor I had any experience and we are both truly amazed by what two complete novices can achieve. The day was really relaxing – the concentration of the carving means your mind empties of all else. Pete is a great teacher and good at creating an environment where we felt comfortable and inspired. Lunch was fab and I had my coffee dependency fully catered for! Interesting conversation, absorbing work, and an end result we are both chuffed to bits with. A big thank you Pete – and yes, I’m currently musing on a design of my own I would love to carve."

"This was a great course Pete was an amazing teacher. It is a lovely workshop with a really friendly atmosphere where you can just enjoy your new skill. Lunch was very tasty and the kettle was always on for a brew. It was a fabulous course my wife and I can't recommend enough. We have never done this before and after 6 hours, left with a woodcarving we can each be proud of."
