"I’ve never crocheted before, thankfully Ann was very informative. Ann started the course by providing me with the first fact sheet on wool sizing /crochet terms and crochet hook conversion chart, Ann explained this conversion chart. Very informative ... Next, how to crochet . Ann taught commencement of all crochet work, holding yarn and hook . Anne explained in detail and started me on slip stitch. Over the 2 hours I learned several stitches and how to make a granny square. Ann even provided me with all the factsheets to take home, clearly printed out and colour coded for ease of use. Amazing experience, well worth making the effort to learnt to crochet . All was provided even the hook. Factsheets and 2 patterns were for me to take away , in an easy to follow format. It felt like going back in time sitting in the lovely cosy environment of The Grand Vintage Tea Rooms . Thank you Ann I had a lovely experience learning how to crochet."

"Had a beginners course earlier month and it was great! Ann made crocheting much easier for me to understand and the session was really relaxing and informal, a great way to learn! The Vintage Tea Room was the perfect location and I learnt a lot! I just need to practise before I book another session with Ann. I would strongly recommend this workshop to people at all levels of crocheting as Ann is a very patient teacher and finds the individual way to teach!"

I have tried to crochet before without much success but thanks to Ann’s patience, enthusiasm, knowledge and guidance I now feel able build on this new skill and with practice take on a project. "My friend Joan and I spent a lovely 2 hours in Ann`s company learning to crochet. As everyone has said she was unbelievably patient with us complete novices! Joan and I were amazed to find we both had a granny square to take home with us and a new skill! Our session was on 31st August and we are both slightly obsessed _ I am currently trying to master holly leaves for Christmas _ there are so many free patterns on the intranet! Best £15 spent in a while- thanks again Ann"
