"I had a lovely afternoon trying the different techniques and was so pleased with the results once they came out of the kiln. Julie was a very good teacher and a lovely hostess and made me feel very welcome. I had been wanting to try glass fusing for a long time and Julie really explained things clearly and gave me the right foundation to take this further if I want to in the future. Already booked to go back, this time bringing my Mum with me to do some Christmas decorations!"

"We both had a really enjoyable and productive afternoon. We had had no experience but Julie was a helpful, knowable and welcoming host. We both produced some lovely pieces and found it a very relaxing experience. We had booked to do another course ( short Xmas decoration course) before we left based on the afternoon's tuition! Neither of us would consider ourselves artistic but the pieces we produced are really lovely -we were given free reign with design/colours but Julie was always there as a guiding hand if required. We would both recommend this course as one you could repeat and still enjoy."

"I was bought this workshop session as a Christmas gift from my husband who knows I love anything crafty! "I attended Julie's fused glass workshop with my partner & nine year old son. We had no clue what to expect. Julie was very welcoming, patient and passionate about the fused glass process and the kind of things that could be achieved. We all tried very different projects and were amazed with the results. Throughout the workshop Julie was very knowledgeable and encouraging. She really brought out our creativity (we surprised ourselves). "I did a workshop with Julie today having received a voucher for Christmas. Julie’s communication prior to the workshop was great and the workshop itself was brilliant. Julie helps you by knowing what is possible or not but let’s you decide on what you want to do and helps you to execute it by giving you tips without taking over. Haven’t seen the finished product yet but it won’t change my review. I’d definitely recommend this course!"

"I have recently retired and this was my first outing "doing something different" - it couldn't have been a better choice! I have done nothing creative in the past but Julie was a really encouraging and helpful teacher. She began with a very warm welcome to her home to put everyone at their ease, then told us some fascinating facts about glass before explaining how to make our decorations. She was always on hand to give advice and, as a result, I now have two decorations that will definitely have a place on the tree! I'm looking into giving vouchers for Julie's classes as Christmas gifts for my nieces too..."

Julie explained how everything worked and how the glass changes in firing I learnt about glass making and the process far more than I expected . After looking at examples of Julies work . I decided to make a field of poppies picture and I love the result. I really did have fun and found it relaxing thank you."
