"I did this workshop with my daughter and we had fabulous afternoon glass bead making. Julia is friendly and knowledgeable, and provided all materials and equipment for a great experience. She explained the process clearly and patiently, and recapped her demonstration after my slightly wobbly first attempts so I could quickly improve. There were refreshments on hand and the whole process was relaxed and rewarding. You could go at your own pace, but there was also options to move onto more complicated techniques when you were ready. A great experience, highly recommended."

"We had a super time with Julia. Never having done any glass work she was working with complete beginners and handled us well. So well in fact we have received a lovely bundle of our work in the post and I am absolutely amazed that my beads came out looking something like a glass bead! After a refresher on technique, we got back into creating various designs- with varying success! Julia was very supportive when needed and we really enjoyed the session. "I had a one-to-one bead making session with Julia and enjoyed it greatly. All the processes were clearly and patiently explained and Julia struck just the right balance between offering tips for improvement and leaving me space to experiment and learn creatively. Despite the presence of molten glass and hot blue flames, the session felt safe and well organised, allowing for a relaxing afternoon. The time flew by but I managed to make enough beads for a bracelet and will enjoy looking at them and remembering the session."

"We really enjoyed our afternoon with Julia making glass beads! Our session began with a demonstration of how to make a basic bead using Moreno glass . Julia explained everything and safety measures were in place throughout. Once we had watched Julia make it look so easy, we got started and realised that there is a lot of skill involved. We had a work station each and spent a very enjoyable afternoon making a variety of different colours and shapes of beads. Julia was always there to help and offer suggestions and was very friendly. Would definitely recommend!"
