"Excellent quality materials and the packs included things that I wouldn't normally use in colours that I wouldn't normally choose (I told Jessica to just randomly pick 2 contrasting colours for the packs). "I loved the nice way the kit was packed, with smaller items in separate bags within the kit, and it was good to see such a variety. The one thing though that I did assume would be there and wasn't, is either some instructions or photos of examples of how to use the kit. For me it isn't a major issue as I craft a lot and am used to embellishing my work, but for a complete beginner, I would think they may struggle for ideas initially. But as I said, overall, the kit is very nice and I like Jessica's work very much."

The brooch pack description clearly states that the packs are inspiration packs and do not come with written instructions. I am a big believer that trying new materials and adding your own twist to projects can create exciting results! I have a variety of packs and kits that I sell with and without instructions but all state what they include very clearly within the descriptions. "Great workshop! I enrolled to learn Jess’s disperse dye techniques. I loved her ideas for spray painting washers and making handmade sequins out of plastics straws and bubble wrap. Jess was a generous and knowledgable teacher with loads of tips. I came home bubbling with inspiration, with a stash of hand-dyed and upcycled plastic embellishments. Well worth the trip from London to Leeds."
