"A fabulous day with Michelle in Hay on Wye, I was amazed at how much we got done and the quality of the finished items, which is all down to her excellent tuition. We all finished our needle felt animals and went home extremely happy with our day and enthusiastic about needle felting and what we could achieve with it. An extra plus was the wonderful lunch and coffee provided at the venue. I would highly recommend Michelle as a needle felting teacher and crafter, her work is exquisite!"

"Excellent course. Informal, instructive and enjoyable. My first delve into the realm of needle felting, but Michelle made the experience an enjoyable one with her teaching style. Other members on the course were of different levels of expertise, however this added to the mix and Michelle was able to give each person the time needed to ensure they achieved their learning goal and got maximum benefit from the course. I came away with knowledge, nice memories, a piece of my own handcrafted art, but more importantly the skills to carry it forward and hopefully help raise funds for the charity I volunteer for. Thank you Michelle."

"Another brilliant craft day, such a lovely setting at Lapstones to spend a day, with a scrummy lunch to break the concentration. Michelle is a super tutor, so relaxed, letting us enjoy ourselves while giving us tips along the way and just when we feel we have made our pieces Michelle gives them that little twist which makes them come alive giving them a character. Can't wait for another opportunity to meet up with like minded people another day."

"I really enjoyed the course in Ledbury with Michelle. It was definitely worth the 2 hours drive I had to get there. As I was totally new to needle felting I felt quite nervous but that soon changed. We had a lovely group on the day and Michelle was and is a great teacher. To start of with I felt a bit unsure but bit by bit I grew in confidence and I am happy to say that I love the squirrel that I made. As soon as I got home I got onto the computer to order lots of needle felting stuff because I'm definitely not stopping now. Got so many ideas, so this was only the start of my felting journey. Thank you Michelle for a lovely and inspiring day. It's one of the best things I have done in a long time."

"My first craft course ever and it was really fun. I felted a hare which I adore but which unfortunately gained the name "snot" when at home as it was discovered that you could put your finger up his nose; a design fault easily rectified although the name has stuck! The day flew by! :) I thought I wouldn't get anywhere near finishing but I was wrong. The course gave me all the skills and confidence to easily make a few final touches and adjustments when I got home . I found out that it is impossible to go wrong felting, absolutely any mistake is easily and quickly mended. I can't wait to get more wool and try to design another creature. Michelle was very friendly and patient and has given me a new hobby which I think I will love. Thank you :)"

"A brilliant day with a brilliant tutor. A lovely location at Lapstones with customers mingling, such a good way of promoting the class. We began the day with a welcoming coffee and time to meet others on the course, at 12.30 we were served with a delicious lunch. Everyone managed to make the animal of their choice with the superb guidance of Michelle."

Everyone works at their own pace so you never feel rushed and Michelle always steps in to offer help and guidance along the way. "My daughter and I had a wonderful day. It was the first time I had ever persuaded her to embark on any craft whatsoever. A great success. She made a lovely copy of her dog and she's now enthusiastic about repeating the experience with a couple of our friends early next year. Although I didn't complete my dog, he is looking very realistic and I know that Michelle will be on hand if I get stuck finishing him. Michelle is a great instructor - clear instructions, jumping in to help get back on track when it's needed, and happy to let you do a bit of experimenting. Very generous to share her wonderful expertise and talent. Lunch was excellent, and we all loved the afternoon scones and cakes. All in all a great day."

"I loved it. I loved the way that Michelle brings a total relaxing atmosphere to the workshop with no judgement and just constructive help and encouragement. I am going back to another one as it was a real treat to be part of this workshop and to be really proud of my achievement."

"A thoroughly good day. The standard of teaching was excellent, the group size (8) was just right. The venue and facilities were good and refreshments and lunch also very good. "Michelle was an excellent teacher providing just the right level of detail when we needed it. Maybe it was because I took too long on the wire frame, the gorgeous lunch or fabulous cake but I didn't finish. I panicked a bit at the end stabbing furiously but she made me concentrate on the ears and I'm pleased to say they went well. It looked like a dog - not quite my dog but definitely a canine!! I would have liked the course to have gone on longer but maybe if I do another I will be quicker. It was a fun interesting day that I'd love to repeat, thank you"

"What a thoroughly enjoyable course! I have been wanting to learn needle felting for some time now and finally got round to booking a workshop which I attended yesterday (18th October) in Herefordshire. Michelle is an excellent teacher and started us off well with the basics, but kept things moving to ensure we would leave at the end of the day with something we were pleased with. She explained everything very clearly along with a good sense of humour and spent time with each of us throughout the day to help and guide us. There were 8 of us on the course which I thought was an ideal number. A delicious lunch and afternoon cakes and drinks were also provided. The day just whizzed by! We were given the felting needles and mats to take home and also enough wool to be able to make any finishing touches to our creations. I will definitely be booking on another of Michelle's workshops to try my hand at a different animal!! In summary - great teacher, great course, great location, great value for money!!!"

Would like to attend another course and maybe make a hare although the Border Terrier I made was just so good that I may have to make another one so I have a pair!! Excellent value and food was superb."
