"I became inspired to learn a little about sculpture after seeing The Helmet, by Henry Moore, in the National Gallery in Edinburgh, which is simply stunning. After I returned home to Essex I found Di’s one day workshop on the internet and booked myself on. The day was simply fantastic and I came away with a bronzed cat, which I am very pleased with. Di’s instruction is excellent, the facilities are great, and I can honestly say the day surpassed my expectations. I can thoroughly recommend the workshop. If you have an interest in sculpture and want to make something that is not too difficult this is a great place to start. I am about to collect together materials to have a go at making another piece myself at home."

"My daughter and I had an absolutely brilliant day. We learnt so much from Diana who gave clear instructions and help throughout the day. The studio is lovely to work in and set in a beautiful location. We both came away with characterful finished hares. The day far exceeded our expectations and was so enjoyable. "Wonderful workshop. We had a really great time. My husband bought this as a valentine gift and we both did it together. Really pleased with my dog. It is such a fun day and Di is such a good teacher, She explains very clearly . My husband made the hair which was brilliant !!"

"I have highly recommend this clay day with Di. It was my first time with clay and it was really relaxing and fun. I learnt so much and made some great things including 2 very funny grotesque plant pot holders. I am looking forward to seeing the glazed and fired. I have done other workshops with Di so I know she is a very good teacher. She works to your pace so you never feel rushed or stressed. You can take away as much or as little as you want from this day. K."

"This is the 2nd workshop I have been on with Di. I am so proud of my creations. I have not been on a clay day before and Di was a wonderful instructor. She walked me through each stage with care. I totally recommend this workshop. I came away having build a great gargoyle to hang in my garden and some gargoyle pots."

"I came with my 2 daughters, we made a dog, a pig and a hare. Di is a great teacher, she clearly explained each step in the creation process. She is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The surroundings and studio is calm and relaxing. We all felt we had learnt lots and greatly enjoyed our day. Thank you Di it was fantastic."

"I dragged my husband along to this course, " I am not artistic, it will be a waste of money".Guess what, he loved it. He came home with a fantastic running hare, and a beam from ear to ear. "I was given a "Giacometti-style" sculpture making course as a present and I have to say that it was fantastic! Di was great fun to chat with whilst she taught me how to make the sculpture. Di was very open to ideas on what I could make and helped me think through what was feasible in a day! I am really pleased with the final piece that I created and and really liked Di's approach - as she guided me on how to do each step but didn't do the steps for me. She used a different sculpture to demonstrate the technique in a series of easy-to-follow steps and it worked really well. Di also did a great job of keeping my progress on track so that I had a finished product at the end of the session - and did this is a very relaxed way, helped along with coffee and biscuits!"

"I had the BEST time on my sculpture course. Not feeling I was particularly creative, Di patiently proved that I actually was and I came away with a lovely piece of work in the shape of our sausage dog for my husband's Christmas present (who was as amazed as I was!). Lovely setting, lovely relaxing day and best of all, lovely Di .. highly recommended and I'm planning on a second visit with my daughter soon. Thank you!"

"I consider myself a beginner when it comes to art and Di was so helpful and patient when taking me through this course. The space is beautiful and really relaxing, it made focusing and getting lost in the creative process really effortless. Di is friendly, incredibly creative and so knowledgeable - it was such a cathartic and fun process to create a hare sculpture with her. I'd really recommend booking a class with her - either as a 121 like I did, or as a group - because she can really hold space, is warm, fun, friendly and makes the whole process totally enjoyable. Thanks Di! :)"
