"As a complete novice this gave me everything that I need to start wedding. The course, for obvious reasons, started with some safety discussions before we moved on to a practical demo followed by loads practice with arc welding. The afternoon concentrated on MMA welding and followed the same structure as the morning session. David is an excellent instructor both with the briefing/demo sessions and with one-to-one guidance during the practical elements. He obviously has loads of experience and would be able to start/improve the skills of any attendee. This was a very worthwhile and enjoyable course that covered all the bases without feeling rushed in any way. Highly recommended."

When you are having a go in a well prepared booth there is constant support, encouragement and guidance. Never felt that we were other than supported and guided throughout the day. "The course is a good one day course covering all the basics for MMA & MIG welding (not TIG). It is a very practical hands on course. It began, after introductions, with the all important health & safety aspects, which really explained the reasons behind the dangers of the process and using the equipment. Then straight into a short demonstration and from there on, most of the day was spent actually welding first with MMA and then with MIG. This was interspersed with live demonstrations or how and how not to weld. Dave, our instructor explained the processes and showed the techniques at each stage and was always at hand to help. For anyone who has never welded or is afraid of the process this is an excellent course to go on. Essential if you are going to buy your first welding kit."

"If you have an interest in learning to weld this is the course for you. I had no prior experience with welding but this did not matter at all. David is an excellent instructor, and even though he provided a lot of information in a fairly short amount of time he did it in a way where it was clear and made a lot of sense. I felt very comfortable with everything when we got hands on and started welding (which there is a lot of). Overall a great day, a lot of fun in a relaxed but safe environment. Anyone travelling via public transport - a taxi cost me around £9 from Rayleigh train station and took roughly 10 - 15 minutes."
