Jules reviewed: Reverse Applique and Free-motion Machine Embroidery York

"My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed this course. Holly was very organised, patient and encouraging. The techniques were not difficult to pick up, and we had a chance to practice first before moving on to our main piece. Personally I would have found it helpful to have the printed instructions at the beginning of the session, as I was not always ready to learn the next step when Holly was teaching it. Great value, good teaching and a lovely creative day. Thank you Holly."

Thread and Press responded:

"Thank you Jules, much appreciated, And a great idea about printed instructions, thank you. "

"Julie and her husband gave me a warm welcome, a lovely lunch and expert tuition. I took my own machine, Julie tailored her plan for the day to suit my needs as a learner. This course is ideal for various scenarios from simply the experience of cranking a unique pair of socks as a one off, tuition to support using your own machine or even helping you make the decision to purchase a machine of your own. "

Jackie reviewed: Perfume Making in Norfolk

"4 of us on a birthday celebration descended on Diane for a fabulous day of discovery of the art of making perfume. Diane was wonderful, so informative, kind and patient with us all. Diane demonstrated a lot of knowledge and gave us a well balanced day so we didn’t get overloaded with aromas, and she had plenty to choose from. We all left at the end of the day with our own unique bottle filled creations. A perfume we had made ourselves to our own tastes. Lovely lovely day thank you Diane "

Julie reviewed: Stained glass taster day in Worcestershire

"I had a great day learning to do stained glass with Vicky. Vicky is an extremely good teacher going through each process clearly and concisely especially as I was a complete beginner. I was pleased to find that it was a one on one day with Vicky. I think that I found the soldering the hardest part of the process - definitely need more practice with that. Cutting the glass was not so easy on the curve but I was very pleased with the final piece and loved the vibrant colours. Thank you Vicky for your patience and expertise and thank you for the lovely lunch."

Kingcot Gallery responded:

"Dear Julie, thank you for your lovely review, it is appreciated. There is always one process that people find a bit trickier than others but you overcame it and have a piece that will stay vibrant for years to come. All the best Vicky "
