Amy-lee Edwards reviewed: Tiffany stained glass wild flowers workshop

"Kate was amazing!! What a really fab fun filled day with so much to learn and experience. Kate made jumping back into the learning process a doddle and so clear with her guidance that everyone picked it up in no time. I had never even cut glass before (broken tonnes by accident!) but by the end I had the most delicate blue bell flowers with embellishments that dazzle when the sun hits them and some stunning pink daisies. I would love to do this again and I think I'm going to invest in her suggested starter kit to have some fun with! You honestly will not regret this course, see it as an investment in your fun!"

Martin McAssey Glass responded:

"Thank you for the lovely review."

Moyna Edmondson reviewed: Crafty Basketry's Willow Basket Making for Beginners - DayĀ Course at King John's Nursery, Etchingham, East Sussex

"This was without doubt the most rewarding, fulfilling and glorious way to spend a weekend. I did Marianne’s two day course and I wish I could have stayed two weeks. She is so patient and careful in how she guides you, just enough support to encourage self belief but on hand if you need more. I love my basket, so proud!"

Crafty Basketry responded:

"Moyna! What a wonderful review! So fantastic to hear that you wished it could've continued for longer. For me, it was just so amazing to see you enjoying yourself as much as I always do, weaving a basket. So can I challenge you to make a log basket next time? Or would you like to go for something a bit more playful and arty like a lampshade? So chuffed with your review! Thank you very much and see you again soon, I'm sure."

"Thank you Marina for a brilliant afternoon. What a lovely way to celebrate a special birthday. You were so patient with us, guiding us through all the steps. "Excellent course! Can't thank Ady enough for sharing his knowledge and skills so generously with a complete novice ... not to mention his patience. A great day which I have no hesitation in recommending to others. Thanks to Ady, I came away with a beautifully framed piece of "needlework" together with some new skills and a better insight into what needs to be considered when framing my (or other people's) work. Thank you Ady and Cath (lovely lunch and hospitality)."

"Thank you Lesley! Was a pleasure hosting you and helping frame your needlework. All the best for any future framing endeavours! "

Jo J reviewed: Learn soft pastels in a relaxed beautiful environment

"Heather very supportive of a complete novice, the studio is a great environment, close to the canal with all its comings and goings. My friend and I were encouraged to use our creativity to great effect and we had a great day and lovely picture. Heather so helpful and supportive and put us at our ease. It wasn't just the painting, she had booked a table for lunch at the pub and actually took us there. She went more than the extra mile. A lady of great generosity with both her skill and time. Alice Graddon reviewed: Woodland Blacksmithing and Bushcraft Course

"I recently had the pleasure of attending a unique experience day that combined blacksmithing and bushcraft, nestled in a scenic woodland setting. Under the shelter of a rustic forge, our instructor Billy introduced us to the basics of blacksmithing. Despite the initial challenge, Billy’s expert guidance and fun approach made the complex techniques accessible and enjoyable. We crafted our own steel tools, which felt incredibly rewarding. The day continued with bushcraft fire making with Alex, who expertly demonstrated various traditional and innovative techniques, from flint and steel, solar, friction and chemical methods, and the different fire types. The highlight was undoubtedly using flint and the steel we had made earlier at the forge to spark fires, over which we boiled kettles for a well-deserved tea! This experience was not just about learning new skills but also about connecting with traditional crafts in a hands-on, immersive environment and I would highly recommend it. We will be returning for another course in the future! "

Bill's Workshop responded:

"Hey Alice, I’m so glad all of you had such a great time and we’re really able to grasp the skills we went through so well and had so many laughs while we did! That is a lovely review, again I’m so chuffed you enjoyed your woodland Blacksmithing course and I can’t wait to see you again on another one ! All the best -Billy "

"A great course! Their stylish workshop made the perfect environment to learn about steam bending. This delightful couple shared their knowledge and expertise with us and confidently guided us through the process answering all our questions along the way. I could tell a lot of thought had gone into designing this planter and creating the course so that anyone could make it. I can't believe we all walked away with such beautiful and individual planters."

Val Thorman reviewed: Beginner's Modern Upholstery Workshop

"I attended this excellent workshop on 13th April and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was my first time tackling upholstery and Kim, our tutor, explained the tools and process in a very patient and friendly way. She was able to give each member of the class the time they needed for their individual projects as the number of participants was deliberately kept to a maximum of 4 . Each of us completed our projects completely or to a place where we could finish at home. I can’t recommend this workshop highly enough! "
