"Thoroughly enjoyable day, I would really recommend it. Really pleased with what I was able to achieve with Nicky's guidance and support , despite my not having had any experience of glass cutting before. The small group size allows for plenty of individual help and assistance, hence good progress being made and allowing us to try different skills/techniques and use different types of glass."

"Had a fantastic time on the weekend blacksmithing course - everyone came away with pieces they could be proud of. Aaron was a knowledgeable and VERY patient teacher! We were able to cover a good range of techniques, but the course didn't feel too overwhelming to a complete beginner. I had great fun and would highly recommend to anyone looking to try out a new skill."

"I had a great day at Artistry In Wood yesterday and can say that it was a very enjoyable experience. The day went really quickly and I didn't want to stop to go home. George and his wife were very welcoming and made me feel very at home. During the day I made a lovely bowl for my EQP and this was all thanks to George's expertise and excellent teaching ability. I have learnt a lot from the day and would definitely come back and recommend to others."

"I can't speak highly enough of Andy's six day chair making course. I had a absolutely fabulous time.Andy is an expert in his field and can tailor his tuition so that ALL skill levels (I happen to have a degree in furniture design) really have a sense of achievement and fun at the end of the six days. Together with Jane and the rest of our class I was made to feel relaxed like being home from home. It's a true testament to Andy's well thought out teaching that despite it raining most of the week we hardly noticed. All tools,which Andy keeps honed to be really sharp and materials are provided to ensure that you will finish up with a heirloom piece of furniture to be proud of. If you're not sure, just jump in with both feet you'll have the time of your life! Thank you Andy and Jane look forward to seeing you again!"

"Well worth the time and money. The location is great, in a meadow, not far from Bristol in a field that's had a forge for a few centuries! Colin's a great teacher, explaining and showing the techniques without bamboozling you with jargon and then letting you get on to have a go safely, making the whole day a great experience. I learnt loads, made lots, and had a real laugh in the process. Would definitely return as you can never have enough wine glass holders :)"

I didn't think it was possible to make such a beautiful bag in just two days, feeling very pleased with myself. I drove up from London and was blown away by the countryside and the mill. "What a fantastic day! Really should be considered as a local hidden gem! I would urge anyone creative to go visit the studio shop, which is full of wonderful things, as well as booking yourself onto a course! Lorraine is a fountain of knowledge and supports all on the workshop with the highest level of skill. Both Lorraine and her mum were very welcoming, helpful and friendly from initial booking right up to the end of the day. I am looking forward to booking another course early next year to do some Raku firings! :) Thanks Lorraine!"
