"Such a wonderful workshop! I thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful day learning to make candles with Jo. I was a total novice and Jo makes everything so easy to understand and lots of fun. I'm still amazed at how gorgeous the candles I made are - beautiful, and they smell divine! I would give this the highest possible recommendation - if you've ever wanted to give candle making a try, this is the place to go. It's excellent value for money. I also came away with lots of printed information, from step-by-step guides to recommended stockists of candle-making supplies, which means I can try making more candles at home with confidence. In addition to all that, Jo provides a lovely lunch, looking out towards the fields from her beautiful kitchen. Book in for a class - there's absolutely no reason not to!"

"I had the most amazing class ever. Jonathan gave us the knowledge and practice to get started with silver jewlery makibg and we all achieved to do quite a lot of items in a very short time. He was also very kind to stretch the class so we could finish our projects. In addition, the food and treats were delicious. Jonathan and his fiancée were very welcoming and positive! "I've never done glass fusion before and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Steve is a great teacher, very relaxed and very generous with his considerable knowedge, he ensured we all came away with a great piece of art ready for hanging on the wall plus a number of other lovely pieces that we spent the day making, what a treat ! I would highly recommend this course."

"Judi's one day course was fantastic, relaxing and fun, at the end of the day I took home a beautiful pair of slippers. Wirksworth in itself is a quirky village with lots of interesting shops and cafes. Highly recommend this course for its content and its surroundings."

"This was my second time one Steve's one day course. Thoroughly recommended, Steve is an excellent teacher and very skilled craftsman who is willing to share his expertise (ie you aren't corralled into doing what teacher wants but are given free reign with great input from him). We all had a great time! Very pleased with my own pieces, one already earmarked as a gift for a good friend. Will definitely be going on the two-day course next year."

The morning setting up my grindstone and learning how to sharpen my tools correctly, sharpening my tools and learning about the use if tools - the afternoon turning a socket jig to hold fruit and turning an apple and a pear. A very informative and constructive day. Chris is a very patient man and gave good clear instruction on what to do. Thank you Chris for a most helpful and constructive day."
