David and Karon Archdale reviewed: Blacksmithing Introduction courses in Yorkshire and the North East

"We had a great day learning about forging and making useful items in the process. We both felt it took us back to our teenage years when we both did metalwork. We were guided in easy to follow stages throughout after an health and safety briefing. We could ask for help at any time and this was given without us feeling silly. We were also catered for very well with excellent food. We would recommend this to anyone wanting a different experience and not minding getting a bit dirty."

"Myself, partner and my brother organised the one day experience for Dads special birthday. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would recommend the experience to anyone! I have enjoyed showing photos of the day to family, friends and colleagues. There is plenty of help available but you are also given independence to just get on with it so the balance felt very comfortable. There was also plenty of food and drink available throughout the day which was a very thoughtful touch. Thank you for a great day. From Maria and family."

Leandah Collis reviewed: Masterclass workshop: needle felted armature (wired) moon-gazing hare

"Had the best day doing this course, the workshop was warm and inviting, and all covid precautions were in place. Sally was very welcoming and made the day very enjoyable. Everything was explained very clearly and instruction easy to follow. It would be worth attending other needle felting classes before this one as you need an understanding of needle felting for this class. Would highly recommend any of Sally's classes, they are always a pleasure."

Craft Workshops responded:

"Thank you for your lovely review Leandah - it was a very enjoyable day and great to see you again. Your hare is fab and I look forward to helping you finish it off :) Totally agree about having at least a basic knowledge of needle felting to get the best out of this workshop (which of course you have) as it is an intermediate level to build on the foundations of needle felting skills. Look forward to seeing you again soon I hope :) Sally"
