Andi reviewed: Beach Art North Cornwall

"I booked this with my 14 year old son. I can honestly say it was one of the most absorbing and unique experiences i have had through airbnb. For anyone who thinks they are not an artist and wants to know how to do this - trust me you wont be disappointed. Bill is also a very lovely man and gentle teacher who has a lot of knowledge - which he shares only if you're interested otherwise will leave you to work on creating a magical piece of art with quiet guidance. My son was super proud of his work and felt encouraged, never criticised and he felt he learnt some new skills too. Thank you Bill..."

Beach Art responded:

"Thanks Andi, I enjoyed the day too and the heavy sea mist that came in certainly added to an almost surreal setting at times. I wish you both well with your futures and hope that you develop your ideas of combining sacred geometric shapes with sounds. It's all so connected! I certainly learnt something new today too... how straight lines can be drawn a completely different way by pushing the marker out ahead of you. Best regards, Bill"

Lisa reviewed: Beach Art North Cornwall

"We had the most magical two hours on the beach with Bill this morning. He was hugely accommodating to all ages and abilities, encouraging us all to try out our own designs with lots of tips and insight along the way. He was interested in our lives and family and his knowledge and passion for all things Fibonacci was super interesting :-) We loved creating our beach art, found it satisfying, liberating and utterly therapeutic! Would defiantly recommend to anyone to try for a couple of magical hours on the beach x"

Beach Art responded:

"Thanks Lisa for your very kind review. It was a really fun session and everyone really gave it a go. The photos are in an album on my Beach Art facebook page if you want to use any of them. Your children were amazing and Matt too! A really dynamic team. You should be very proud. Best regards and thanks for marking out those 61 large circles to make the Flower of Life with such dedication and accuracy! I think everyone was impressed!"

"I am very pleased with the candles and enjoyed making them. The instructions were brilliant, well written with good explanation and diagrams. The order took a fortnight to arrive because of delays in the postal system , but a new kit was dispatched promptly and without question. July Mobsby reviewed: Fused glass day course - beginners/intermediate

"This was a really interesting and fun course. I probably got a bit over-ambitious with my piece, but Nicky's patience and guidence meant that I produced a beautiful breaking waves design. Nicky is so helpful and gave us lots of ideas and handy tips to boost our confidence with using glass, and the day went by so quickly - we didn't want to stop for lunch. Very good value for the money, and this course would be an ideal gift for someone who loves crafting. Would I do it again - oh yes, definitely!! It was fun, fulfilling and a great way to spend the day. Please give it a try, you won't regret it."

Dariya reviewed: 'Fundamental Art Skills for complete beginners ' 10-week interactive online zoom course with live tuition

"Dear Raya, Thank you for a great online zoom art course. I was absolute beginner in Art and had no confidence. Your Fundamental Art Skill course helped me learn basics of art and get a great foundation for developing my art skills further. I am not more confident to create my own work and have good knowledge using coloured pencils, pastels and drawing pencils. I loved working from direct observation and now continuing drawing from real life. (You will be happy to know). Thank you very much again. I would recommend this course for complete beginners in Art."

Maureen Williams reviewed: Beginners Candlemaking for Two - Anglesey, Wales

"I attended this workshop with two friends in September. We all thoroughly enjoyed our morning. Anita was very informative, telling us about the various types of candle making techniques, various types of wax and about the equipment required. We then had a go ourselves and produced a mixture of lovely goodies, having a break for tea and cake in between. Anita encouraged us to do all the candle making ourselves, but was on hand to help if required. I would have no hesitation in recommending this course."

Michael reviewed: Half day glass fusing for beginners/intermediate

"My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this half day course! Nicky was engaging and walked us through the basics to the point we could try our hand at creating our pieces. Ever professional, at the end of our time when all I needed were some small pieces to give colour to my creation, Nicky helped provide just what I needed with the minimum of time and fuss. I would highly recommend these courses and may well, once covid has blown over, return for a further course..."

Caroline Pitt reviewed: Tartan design (Digital) e-course

"This was booked more for curiosity about tartan than anything. Ashleigh obviously loves his work and wants to share his knowledge. A very enjoyable experience from learning some history, to designing my own tartan. I (with Ashleighs help) am now going to register the design & hopefully get the weave made up. He has patience and amazing software to make the whole process fascinating."

It can be difficult to learn creative things over Zoom, but Kathryn had thought it through and explained it very clearly, with slides showing step by step how to design a mandala.
