Maggie Bouchier reviewed: Painting Masterclass - Tenby South Beach - all welcome in lovely Lawrenny

"The course was well run and we were very Covid safety conscious. Louis had made sure we all had a safe workspace to work in. We all produced an exceptable painting of South Beach Tenby and I for one learnt about using different colours for different effects. It was good value for money and interesting to see that although we all worked from the same painting the results were quite different"

Louise Burdett Artist responded:

"Thanks so much Maggie - glad you enjoyed the colour work and the workshop in general. Hope to see you again soon. x"

"I really enjoyed this course. Michelle is really friendly and explains all the techniques really well. As it is a one to one course I was able to get an overview of all the different techniques and then focus on the one I wanted to use on my piece of furniture. I’m looking forward to using what I’ve learnt. Thank you Michelle for a lovely day and fabulous coffee! Highly recommended."

Tina Smith reviewed: Painting Masterclass - Tenby South Beach - all welcome in lovely Lawrenny

"Louise had gone to great lengths to ensure a safe environment with ample space and fresh air. The course itself was very well run; with small class numbers I felt that we all had the attention that we needed, and it was great to see so many people produce complete paintings under Louise's tuition. Although we used her original painting to work from, each one had it's subtle differences. Highly recommended."

Louise Burdett Artist responded:

"Thanks so much Tina - it was a pleasure to spend the day with you. Hope to see you again. x"

Rosemary Keele reviewed: One day stained glass classes by Le Breton Traditional

"I attended the first post lockdown course with Matthew. Previous bookings had had to be postponed so the course was long awaited. It was well worth the wait for this 2019 birthday present! Matthew took great care to ensure that we were working in a safe environment. He was an excellent teacher and as it was a small class we got very personal guidance with our chosen projects. My project was quite ambitious for a beginner but by the end of the day I had been guided through all the steps and came away with a piece of stained glass work that makes me feel immensely proud. I want to return to see if I can practice the skills we were taught."

Lynn Rae reviewed: Silverclay beginners jewellery workshop in Newcastle upon Tyne

"This was a super course. Claire was beautifully organised and everything was prepared and ready. She had lots of lovely examples of jewellery and lots of resources which I could use. Everything was clearly demonstrated and she was great at giving guidance and encouragement to try things. She gave explanations and tips at every stage and I felt I was learning something. Claire was extremely patient and nothing was too much trouble. The time went quickly and I left with a beautiful pair of earrings (that were just me!) and a tiny charm which I am going to gift. I would highly recommend this course. Thank you very much indeed, Claire."

ToDot Handcrafted Goods responded:

"Lovely to meet you Lynn. I’m so glad you like your pieces you made. The earrings are lovely well done!"

"If you enjoy hands on this is the course for you. Rowan was a fountain of knowledge and if she didn’t know something would try to find out. I felt extremely comfortable and welcomed. I travelled several hours to attend and it was well worth the journey. I have come away with a basic understanding of herbs and can identify some. I am now eyeballing every plant I see and wondering if I can put it in tea!"
