Beginners woodwork course. In this class you will build an attractive shelf for your wall. You will learn and carry out the following skills: - Marking and measuring. - Cutting material to size using the Mitre Saw. - Creating support brackets using templates and the Bandsaw. -Machining profiles to the shelf and the brackets using the Router. -Using the router, create Dados to receive the brackets. - Fixing the brackets to the shelf using joinery techniques. - Attaching hangers to the shelf for wall mounting. Course located in Surrey.
What's included in the price?
Please arrive 5 minutes before the class is scheduled to start. Parking is available on the driveway. Tea and coffee are available throughout the day. There is no lunch provided, so bring your own, or there is a local shop 1 min drive away. Local train station is approx 10 mins walk and parking is available at the workshop. Please wear warm clothes in the winter. The workshop can feel very cold due to the concrete floors in the building.
