Textiles Introduction to Free-Motion Machine Embroidery
Description
Learn how to do free-motion embroidery to create imagery and patterns using your sewing machine In this short introduction, textile artist, Danielle Wade will teach you the basic techniques of free-motion embroidery on a sewing machine. You will learn how to create shapes, patterns and to 'draw' onto fabric with your machine. Please note: You will need to bring your own sewing machine with a basic understanding of its use; such as threading it up. Your machine must have the ability to lower the feed dogs (metal teeth at the bottom of the sewing area which 'walks' the fabric through whilst sewing). The Users Manual for the sewing machine may also be helpful to bring along if you have it, but not essential. Book early to avoid disappointment
