Silver ring. Enjoy making a simple starter ring in sterling silver at this enjoyable and informative workshop, taught by Wendy of WMM Silver. Wendy is a qualified B.Ed teacher with years of experience teaching young and old in schools, colleges and at her own studio at Taurus Crafts. You will be learning how to size, cut, file, solder and texture your ring in a choice of designs. Suitable for beginners and young people over the age of 12. This is a taster session and involves some simple soldering, which will be supervised at all times.

Hello. I am Wendy from WMM Silver. As a jeweller of long standing, and also a B.Ed qualified tutor, I have been teaching in the South West for the past 20 years. I love seeing what results can be achieved by beginner students within a few hours with the right stage-by-stage instruction. My aim is to provide a safe and fun forum for you to learn and enjoy and take home a special piece of jewellery to remember your day. All this is done in my dedicated studio at the Taurus Crafts visitor centre in Lydney where you can also browse the lovely shops and eat in the onsite cafe during your break. I also teach in outreach venues when requested and in private homes for special occasions. My workshops are always highly enjoyed and I've received more than 245 x 5* Google reviews as a result of happy customers.
