Silk painting techniques - make a silk scarf

Description

Now is your chance to learn silk painting, in a step-by-step, easy to follow workshop, which is suitable for beginners - no experience necessary! No drawing skills required either! You will be taught how to transfer any design of your choice onto the silk, quickly, easy and efficiently, and how to make a variety of marks using the specialist silk paint, as well as how to blend colours and create tonal depth. You will get to experiment with silk painting on tester silk before committing to your design. The imagery you paint can be of anything you like - inspiration images will be provided, but feel free to bring along any imagery you might like to take ideas from. You will get to take home your very own painted silk scarf. Only 5 spaces available - small class size.

I am an artist and qualified teacher living and working in my stunning garden art gallery and studio in Lincs. Throughout the year, I conduct diverse art workshops that cover painting in watercolours, acrylics, pottery, mixed media, and drawing with various media, including batik and lino printing. My "Watercolors & Afternoon Tea Experience" is very popular, so why not treat yourself and your friends? If you're interested in a unique and quirky private art party in the garden gallery, you get to choose the day, time, medium, and subject. My gallery also features a permanent exhibition of my work. In addition, I offer pottery sessions, including hand-building using slab, coil, and pinch pot techniques. Workshops are limited to 6-8 participants, ensuring quality instruction and quality tuition.
