Iām Sasha, the owner of NicePomPoms, a creative business I run from my home in Brighton. When I moved here I took sewing lessons because I couldnāt find a fancy dress costume for an ABBA night. I hate waste and I didnāt want to buy something that wouldnāt last the night, so I made my own dress, which I still have now! It turned out I really loved creating something different. Over the years I have dabbled in lots of different craft disciplines, such as screen printing, freehand embroidery, and string art. My background is teaching secondary school Science but in 2020 I decided to leave teaching and focus on spreading joy through colourful crafting. I love sharing my knowledge and skills with others and encouraging people to tap into their creativity. I LOVE animals and nature, which youāll gather from my craft kits and the fabrics I use in my sewing projects.
