RESIDENTIAL 3 DAY WORKSHOP ARRIVE FRIDAY EVENING, LEAVE AFTER CLASS MONDAY Join artist Lisa Lundqvist, owner of Cheviot House Gallery and Guest Rooms for a creative adventure in oil and cold wax painting! In this intensive 3 day course you will learn everything there is to know about painting with oil and cold wax. The course will be conducted in the artists studio at Cheviot House. You will be expertly led through painting exercises which will introduce painting materials, tools and techniques. Beginning with texture and layering methods, you’ll produce a series of mini abstract work. Then you’ll move on to creating textured land and blended skies for semi-abstract landscapes. You will learn the importance of finishing details, titles and presentation.
