Description

Join us for a one-day Paper Marbling Workshop, where you’ll immerse yourself in the heritage craft of marbling on paper and fabric. This fun, hands-on experience allows you to explore the expressive and addictive art of creative paper marbling, where every print is unique and the results are both unpredictable and mesmerising. No prior experience is necessary, and the workshop is perfect for all skill levels. Shona will teach you traditional marbling techniques using a specially prepared thickened water bath and high quality acrylic inks. We will experiment with different methods of application using brushes, droppers and handmade tools, allowing you to play with patterns and colour. With a wide range of colours available, you’ll have the opportunity to experiment with various styles – whether you’re drawn to bold, groovy designs or soft, pastel patterns. You’ll have the freedom to explore your own creative ideas, guided by Shona’s expert support.
