Hosted by The Heatherley School of Fine Art. Discover how to reinvent a photographic image into a painting on this 5-day painting from photographs course. Bring a photograph or series of photographs that are important to you in some way, and together we will explore ways of translating them into paintings. We will use a computer, mobile phone or photocopier to transform and translate your photographic image and explore ideas using paint. Compositional and tonal considerations will be evaluated as we explore the possibilities of painting from photographs.
