Description
Our series of ‘night out’ workshops have been created so you can meet up with your friends/family, going ‘out out’ to The Sorting Office, as well as making something fabulous. This Friday evening event features Gin and Fused Glass, making a bowl, wave, tea light holder or coaster set. You will design and make your own fused glass creation. We will provide a gin tasting, cocktails and some nibbles and you are more than welcome to bring your own bottle too. - 7pm arrival with Gin cocktail. - 7.10pm Kathryn, our fused glass expert will talk to you about the materials, techniques and tools of fused glass. - 7.20pm you will have a practice with using the tools. - 7.30pm You will design and make your own bowl/wave/coasters whilst enjoying another glass or other refreshments and nibbles. - 9.00pm depart and collect your glass three weeks or so later as it needs to go into the kilns.
