With Summer slowly unfolding and pollination underway it’s time to celebrate the beauty of Butterflies! Come activate your inner Lepidopterist and learn how to needle felt some exquisite UK specimens using natural wool fibre. You will learn how to set your finished creations onto a wool backing and mount them into a wooden frame, ready for your wall. Alternatively make your butterflies into a brooch or a visible mending feature! These butterflies look stunning as a vignette, alongside woollen landscape paintings and needle felted 3D birds from our Beloved British Birds series at The Oast Studio. Suitable for all skill levels, even if you are a complete beginner.
