Description
Come and create your own unique Meadow Drift of wildflowers and meadow grasses. We will be using simple hand embroidery techniques to create beautiful effects. You will be working at your own pace and level in a friendly setting. Individual tuition is provided throughout the day to help you create your own piece. A wide variety of beautiful art fabrics and threads will be available for you to choose from, alongside a display of visual resources to inspire you.
What's included in the price?
All sewing equipment, art fabrics, pure silk, linen and cotton fabrics and visual resources. Tea, coffee and homemade refreshments are available all day.

Maker
Helen Roskell is an experienced tutor with a passion for hand embroidery. She has been teaching creative embroidery techniques throughout the Southwest since 2010. Inspired by the natural world and the stunning Dorset countryside, Helen teaches adults of all ages and abilities the joy of slow stitch using seasonal themes of universal recognition. Her popular courses include wildflower meadows, seascapes, wild birds in flight, marshlands, layered landscapes and textural detailed studies of insects and plant life. Diverse techniques also include hand quilting, printing and fabric collage, silk ribbon embroidery and dry needle felting She often combines several techniques in one piece to illustrate that no single technique is mutually exclusive.
