Description
A brand new workshop to create 2 stunning leaded lightcatchers using totally traditional stained glass techniques. Come and spend a lovely afternoon creating two stained glass lightcatchers from scratch. This is a hands-on course where you will learn the traditional stained glass processes of glass cutting, leading, soldering and polishing. You will select the two templates you would like to make and after learning to cut glass, you will then select and cut the coloured glass for your panels. Next comes the lead work with accurate cutting of the lead and building your panel. Then it is soldering time! Finally you will polish your two panels to a bright, even finish. This is a great opportunity to learn or develop your skills and as you are making two pieces you could choose to gift one as a stunning handmade present. The finished lightcatchers are approximately 12cm square.
