Description
Make your own pair of silver earrings Working with Sterling silver sheet metal you will create domed earrings choosing to make them concave or convex and textured or brought to a high polish. There is also the option to add a fresh water pearl if you would like to do so. Our tutor, Helen Smith, will guide you through each step of the making process in this wonderful introduction to silver-smithing. All tools and materials are provided, so treat yourself or your loved ones to a creative session making some beautiful and unique jewellery. Suitability: adults & age 16+. Beginners & those with experience. Book early to avoid disappointment. Group bookings taken. What's included in the price?
Please note: You will need to wear close-toed shoes and tie long hair back. A small blowtorch is used for silver soldering process. You will be provided with protective goggles for this. FAQs
Most workshops are fully inclusive of materials but please do check the listing information to make sure.
We always recommend bringing an apron or old shirt if you are doing a potentially messy activity. We do have disposable ones available if you forget.
Hot drinks are available but you are welcome to bring your own if you desire.
If you have a booked a full day workshop, lunch will usually be included. Please let us know of any dietary requirements you may have, or if you would prefer to bring your own lunch along.
We can also book tables at the Barn Café on site, on your behalf, so please ask if you would like a table before or after your workshop.

We are situated 1 mile off the A12 from the Dobbies Garden Centre roundabout.
There is parking on site.
Please go the rear of the complex and use the parking area beyond the café and antiques centre if possible.
If you required a disabled parking place, please let us know ahead of your workshop and we can arrange for a space closer the entrance.
