Maker

Good Times Writing Experiences is created and run by me: Canadian stand up comic and writing coach Mike Sheer. Since 2019, I've been making and delivering practical workshops on writing craft, aimed at professionals, in the UK and the continent. But after offering more public sessions, I realized I get a huge thrill out of helping EVERYBODY remember how wonderful it is to play with ideas and have a safe space to be silly and wild! Whether visiting our fair city, or needing a mid-week release from work stresses, my sessions are about getting you to give yourself permission to let your imagination party, and make writing fun again! I've performed comedy all over the world for 20 years, and helped dozens of comedians and screenwriters polish and refine their work. So my mix of skills as an entertainer and a writing coach position me perfectly to get you smiling and scribing.
