Glass Painting with Jill Fordham at Cambridge Art Makers
Description
Join Jill and learn about how stained glass windows have been decorated with special paints for centuries, and how these techniques are also applied in a contemporary way today. Learn how to mix up your own glass paints and have a go at traditional and contemporary glass painting techniques yourself. After experimenting, produce your own painted glass designs by the end of the day. Use of tools and all materials are included in the cost. Maximum size 20cm x 20cm. The course is suitable for any level. Pieces made on this course will need to be fired in our kiln. This is a long process so will not be completed during the day. Participants will be invited to collect their pieces at a future date, this may be a number of weeks from the course date due to kiln space.
