Glass fusing taster day - Kent/South London
Description
A perfect opportunity to explore the world of glass fusing. Join us for this one day glass fusing taster session. You'll be amazed at what you can create, regardless of your artistic background. Beginners are welcome, and we'll guide you through the process, building your confidence in glass cutting and offering a wide range of colourful sheet glass, frit, and stringers to spark your creativity. From coasters to small dishes, window hangings, or sun catchers and garden art - the possibilities are endless. You will be fully inducted with the health and safety aspects of using the tools and materials. There is on site parking, local train stations are either Meopham or Borough Green & Wrotham; there is a limited bus service. We are happy to arrange a driver to collect you from the local stations by prior arrangement.
What's included in the price?
The cost of the glass is included for a coloured item up to 20cm x 20cm, plus float glass and powders for your first practice item. If you wish to create more than this, you can purchase additional materials from the workshop's supplies. - Coffee, tea and biscuits are provided. Please bring a packed lunch/sandwiches for the short lunch break.

FAQs
On taster day courses and weekend courses, all tools and materials are provided on a fair use policy. Materials used over the fair use policy will be charged for at cost price.
If you are attending a weekly course, you need to bring your own materials and basic hand tools.
We are serviced by two local train stations, Borough Green and Wrotham and Meopham. The 308 bus or taxi service are available at the stations, however, both are limited service. We are happy to organise a driver to collect you by prior arrangement for day/weekend courses.
Coffee, tea, herbal teas and biscuits are provided. Please bring a packed lunch/sandwiches for the short lunch break if attending a day course.
We have free parking on site.
