From Sketch to Stitch Freehand Machine work with Fran Brammer
Description
This is a two day course that will follow the whole process from looking, designing, experimenting through to creating. Working from the fabulous setting of the Viking Loom we will photograph and sketch out ideas and designs, experiment with ideas, fabrics, colours and techniques on day one. Emphasis will be on exploring freehand work, raw applique and fabric manipulation, plus a bit of mixed media if required!! Day two will be putting plans into action, developing, refining and making your own landscape Bring your own machine, threads and basic kit. Suitable for all competent sew-ers.
