Friday Night Forge - Fire & Forge

Description

Friday night forge - Fire and Forge. Welcome folks! Our new evening mini course where participants can come along and escape the everyday, hang out with other like-minded creative folks and try your hand at forging. Participants will be taught under the watchful eye of instructors to produce the evenings scheduled project from start to finish. Afterwards you can enjoy a bottle of local origin and continue to enjoy the snacks provided before our night comes to a close. The Forge is based in rural South Oxfordshire on the edge of the Chiltern Hills and is a great place to escape and reset in this fast passed world. The forge is a fantastically creative environment where you get a chance to heat, hammer and hit hot steel to make something from scratch. Each project is designed for complete beginners and will be taught in a relaxed manner... although some heavy hitting may occasionally be required. Create a decorative fire rake/poker using traditional techniques to produce your very own fire side companion. Celebrate your creation with a bottle round the fire alongside your fellow fire starters. Arrive at 6pm, forging will commence after a safety talk until latest 9pm, when we will crack open a cold one! A relaxed end time from 9pm-10pm.
