Enamel paint and print on glass

X

Description

Join Helen on a fused glass workshop exploring enamel painting and printing on glass. This class will be a celebration of nature. A relaxed and experimental session inspired by plants and flowers, taking time and looking closely. You will be shown how to mix and apply liquid enamels in a painterly way to create botanical imagery. Helen will demonstrate different ways to use the coloured enamel, which brushes and tools to use exploit the unique properties of the liquid and sheet glass and how to work into your paintings to create fine detail. During the half day session you will make several samples before working on your final piece which can be a curved sculpture or small bowl. Lots of inspiration and imagery will be provided for everyone and you are welcome to bring your own too.

What's included in the price?

After the session your finished piece and any samples you choose will be kiln fired. They will be ready within a few weeks for studio collection or posted which can be paid for on the day of the class (£5). Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.
