Decoupage Treasure Box Workshop in the Cotswolds
Description
Decoupage is a decorative art form with a rich history dating back to the 12th century, popularised in Europe in the 17th & 18th centuries. A great device for transforming furniture and household items. In this workshop you will create a one-of-a-kind treasure box for keepsakes. Learn multiple techniques to transform a large, plain wooden box into a decorative item using paint techniques, ageing, stencilling, decoupage and embellishments. A relaxed, fun workshop for all abilities. Jennie will guide you step-by-step to create your masterpiece.
What's included in the price?
Tea, coffee and cold drinks are provided. Please bring lunch, or you will have time to visit one of Lechade’s charming cafés, shops or pubs (2 minutes’ walk). The day starts at 10am and finishes at 3pm, please aim to arrive around 9.45am for a prompt start.

Maker
Fun & fabulous workshops with maker, tutor and treasure seeker Jennie Turner-Maskell. Workshops mainly take place in or near Jennie's charming home in the Cotswolds. Jennie is co-founder of Crafter's Retreats and a member of the prestigeous Supercraft Cruises team, teaching crafts on cruise ships. A tutor for over 15 years, qualified trainer and lifelong-learner, Jennie has a background in 3D art and design and theatre management. Workshops range from Mosaic Making to Metal Embossing, Seaglass Jewellery Making, Fabric Printing, Weaving, Christmas Crafts and many more. Working with small groups, Jennie ensures workshops are always relaxed and friendly.
