Come and design, carve and print decorative summer bug. Maybe you'll create a butterfly, a dragonfly, a bee or beetle? We'll be celebrating our pollinators with these fun symmetrical summer insects! This workshop is suitable for complete beginners and those with some previous experience. You will: - Learn the basic principles of linocut printing. - Explore the tools and terminology associated with lino cutting. - Experiment with carving lino to practise your skills. - Design and create your own summer insect lino prints, ready to take home and hang, turn into greetings cards, or give as gifts! You will be taught by Sue, a practising printmaker and tutor with over 20 years experience. The group is limited to 8 participants to ensure everyone gets all of the tuition they need to complete their prints to a high standard.
