Description
Cyanotype is an early form of photography using the sun to develop the images. In this beginner-friendly workshop, you will have a hands-on workshop experience and learn how to mix the chemicals, coat the paper and make contact prints. You will be encouraged to experiment with various materials like plants, lace, and other found objects to create unique, works of art. You'll leave class with beautiful and unique works of art, suitable for framing and even make your own greeting cards. On a rainy day we will be using UV lights to expose the images instead of the sun. Feel free to bring any materials from home that you want to experiment with, e.g. plant leaves, lace. You may want to bring a snack with you. Please bring an apron.
