Description

Join me for a fun and relaxing 2 hour introduction to cyanotype printing at Brothers farm café and learning space. Maker

I'm an artist printmaker and teacher from Hampshire with over 20 years experience. I create original prints using a wide variety of printmaking techniques, including screenprint, monoprint and etching. I also founded 'love to print' an art kits business in 2017 selling lino and cyanotype kits to share my love of printmaking. You can find these here or on my website alongside a selection of in person art workshops in Hampshire and Dorset. Please get in touch if you'd like to know more.

FAQs

Cyanotype works with UV light, not just sunshine specifically, so if the weather is overcast exposures will still work they'll take a bit longer. I also have a UV lamp for indoor exposures.
In rare cases that very bad weather is forecast a decision may be made to reschedule the session.

It depends on the weather as this determines how long exposure times take, but you should expect to make at least 5 prints during the session, and may choose to take some paper home with you to carry on experimenting there.

Yes, the venue is a café with teaching space as part of it. You can buy food and drink at the venue and book a table if preferred during busy times. I would ask that you don't drink eat while the activity is in progress.

Brothers farm is a café, blueberry and flower farm open to the public, which has parking on site.
