An all-inclusive, workshop style crafting break, away from household chores; and plenty of quality time to spend on your photos and memories or your crafting projects. Bring your projects, come along with your friends (and make some new ones while you're here) and enjoy a weekend get away dedicated to you and your crafting.

Hello! I'm Linda Gransby, founder of Memories and Photos. My mission is providing simple solutions to allow busy people to enjoy their craft time. When you meet me you'll most likely find me with a cuppa in my hand, and barefoot, it helps me create better! I'm a passionate crafter, experienced teacher and founder of Memories and Photos, with over 20 years experience in the crafting world. I've written four books that have featured as Amazon bestsellers, to help people enjoy their scrapbooking and journalling without the stress. I've been published in Scrapbooking Magazine, and have written a cover zine for Your Family History Magazine. I've also been a featured guest speaker on main stage at craft business conferences a number of times, and I've demonstrated at Hobbycraft and Stamperama.

The world is your oyster...! Choose craft projects you want to do over the weekend, and pack everything you need. Obviously you'll need to bring your normal crafting tools and supplies. (Oh... don't forget to pack clothes - I nearly did that one retreat!) I'll send out helpful lists after you've booked to help you plan your weekend :-)
This is an informal, workshop style event, so there are no formal classes included.
There will be some informal, inspirational breakout sessions over the weekend, which are optional.

The venue is at Kents Hill in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire.
Its very central for driving; the M1 Junc 13 is a couple of miles away.
The Milton Keynes Coachway for National Express busses is within a couple of miles too.
Milton Keynes Central Railway Station is about 15 mins by taxi.
The nearest airport is London Luton, about 45 mins by taxi.
Everyone gets a 5ft table to themselves, and plenty of space underneath the table and at the sides of the room.
You keep the same table all weekend, no need to pack up.
I always strive to make every person welcome and included. My retreats are very social where we all craft together, eat together, and enjoy chatting and meeting new friends. No one is left out unless they want some quiet space, and that's ok too.

There will be facilities staff on hand to help you unload your supplies, and to help you back to your car at the end of the weekend.

There is some walking between bedroom, restaurant and craft rooms as they are in separate parts of the conference centre.
